DL Maths Hiring Information for Teachers

Job Title:

Teacher/ facilitator of IGCSE, AS and A Level mathematics course material

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the Cambridge curriculum
Conduct one-on-one and small group lessons either in-person or online
Assess students' academic capabilities and determine strengths and weaknesses
Develop and provide additional course material for weaker areas
Maintain accurate student records and academic evaluations
Maintain clear communicative relationship with students and parents

Minimum Qualifications:

A three-year degree in Education or a PGCE
SACE registration
Minimum 5 years teaching experience in FET phase
Minimum 3 years teaching experience in Cambridge Mathematics Curriculum
English as a First Language
Driver's licence and own car for in-person lessons, or acess to internet and Zoom/MS teams with a minimum of a 10MB line

Compensation:

Lesson-based pay from R150 to R250 per hour depending on grade level
